The Firewood We Burn Ourselves
Our Founder has this firewood in his wood shed. Why? In his own words:
- Quality – The wood itself is exceptional, very dry and split down to the right sort of size regardless of whether I’m burning it in my 8kw stove, or outside in my pizza oven.
- Convenient – The bags make moving them from the pallet on delivery to my wood shed a heck of a lot easier than loose wood, and then when I want wood next to my fireplace it’s as easy as moving a single bag.
- Clean – A major plus is that there is significantly less mess from the logs too – so my wood basket doesn’t get as gritty as it used to.
- Low Ash – The logs are predominantly debarked. Bark is where most of the ash comes from, so these logs burn cleaner and leave less ash in my stove.
- Recyclable – The bags go straight into my recycling bin.
